Kathy came to Carleton from Davenport, Iowa where she was Valedictorian of Davenport High School class of 1960. At Carleton, she graduated Magna Cum Laude in History. She was a member of the 1964 Mai Fete Court and Co-op Board. Upon graduation she received a Fulbright Grant to teach English in India for a year.
Kathy's career in information technology began in the early days of computer systems, starting at Deere & Company as a systems analyst. In 1981 she was united in marriage to James P. Lennon and relocated to Houston, TX to become an IT Manager for Coastal Corporation. With divorce and retirement in 1998 from Coastal, she returned to the Quad Cities area with her beloved cats Lacey and Piper. Kathy was an avid world traveler, especially enjoying riverboat cruises in Europe. She also loved to read and play bridge. She is survived by many relatives and dear friends.
