John was my roommate at Carleton for two years and we shared many adventures together. I did not know that he had passed away until I recently came across his obituary, which I had uploaded to this website. It references a self-published stream of consciousness memoir of sorts that I ordered from Amazon. Not great literature but it does reflect the John I knew.
