Anyone who knew Janice Mileo is fortunate indeed. Janice passed away on March 5, 2010, after living with multiple myeloma for more than nine years. Though Janice’s life was not as long as we would have liked, she raised two amazing daughters and had productive careers in both law and mental health. She was both a successful attorney and skilled psychologist. Her daughters, Allison and Marina are graduate students who made time to be with their mother when she needed them. Our condolences to Janice’s family and to her partner, Charles Leahy. Most of all, thanks to Janice for demonstrating how to live life to the fullest, fight a noble battle against an unrelenting cancer, and die with dignity.
