Hester Mendenhall Prins, Born in Duluth, the oldest of four sisters to Anna and Warren Mendenhall in 1907. She was educated at Carlton College and taught Public School in Superior Wis. Duluth and Minneapolis. Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John Martin Prins, son Peter, daughter Courtney and Grandson Peter Walter. Active in community service, a helpful and true friend, Hester volunteered with the Girl Scouts, the Metropolitan Planning Commission and The League of Women Voters in MN. During her 25 years in Green Valley AZ. She drove for The Friends in Deed ride share program and help numerous retirees adjust to life in Southern Arizona. She served with The United Community Health Clinics and as a friend of the Pima County Library System. Hester is survived by her son John (Joe, Carole) of White Bear Lake.
