Dorothy May Phelps Age 104 1/2 of Hopkins, departed for Heaven 11/18/10. Preceded in death by parents, Charles E. Phelps and Susan L. Miller; 3 brothers, 2 sisters. Survived by nieces, Nancy Granrud, Geraldine Pardee, Susan Bailey, Dorothy Anderson, and Susan Pearson; nephews, Charles Scriver and Fred Phelps; many grand, great-grand nieces & nephews and friends. Dorothy was born in Mpls. Graduated from Carleton College, Northfield in 1928. She was a Director of Camp Mariastella 18 years run by the Sisters of Social Service in Wrightwood (near LA), CA and then moved to Northfield to act as Associate Director of Publications at Carleton College, retiring in 1973.
