Don Servine, 57, of Moline, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, at Pathway Hospice, Trinity at Terrace Park, Bettendorf.

A private family burial was held at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, Salvation Army, Church Women’s United Food Pantry, or Pathway Hospice at Trinity at Terrace Park.

Don was born Nov. 13, 1948, in Moline, to J. Stanley and Jane Peters Servine. He married Nancy K. Armstrong Oct. 5, 1991, at First Lutheran Church, Moline.

Don was a 1966 graduate of Moline High School. He graduated in 1970 from Carleton College in Northfield, Minn. In May 1975, he graduated from College of Law at the University of Illinois, Urbana. He was employed for 30 years at Lohman Companies, retiring in 2005.

Don was in the U.S. Army, serving from September 1970 to April 1972 in Germany.

Don was a member of First Lutheran Church, Moline.

Don enjoyed fine arts, literature and Japanese culture.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy K. Servine; stepson and spouse, Dean L. and Stacey Armstrong; stepdaughter, Virginia K. Boysen; three grandchildren; sister, Nancy Lincoln; sister-in-law, Sue Servine; four nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, J. William Servine.
