Crystal Denise (Wallace) Ford ‘75, of Beaumont TX, passed away on March 28, 2020. She had recently moved from Washington, DC to Charleston, SC. As this was early in the Pandemic, a virtual Home-going Celebration was streamed via Facebook.
Also known as “Lady”, Crystal had a smile that lit up the room whenever she was present. A graduate of Howard University and Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas State University she served for over 30 years as a civil servant, including 15 years in appointed federal government leadership roles.
Crystal loved traveling, dance, art, gumbo, butterflies, and time with family and friends, most of all with her lovely daughter Christina, who, along with a large host of family and friends, misses her dearly.
