Craig L. Huston, 68, of Portland, died peacefully Friday at home with his family at his bedside. 

 He was born to Lois Huston and the late F. Craig Huston, October 17th, 1945 in Staten Island, New York.  Craig graduated high school from St Mark’s Episcopal school in 1963 in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Lake Forest College in 1968. 

 Craig worked as a database administrator for Pacificorp until his retirement in 2004.  He was a very active bridge player throughout his life and played in many tournaments locally and nationally, achieving the title of life master in 1972.  His bridge expertise was frequently documented in a column in The Oregonian.     

 Craig was known for his quiet deliberate and contemplative demeanor.  He was an avid hiker and enjoyed growing flowers and brewing beer. 

 Craig is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lisa Huston, mother Lois Huston, son Aaron Huston(Bonnie Martin), sister Leslie Huston, and three grandchildren Andrew, Grant, and Elsie Huston, sister in law BJ Hedlund (Luis Ubiles), nephew Jeremy Hedlund, sister in law Charlene Huston and nephew Josh Huston.
