REMEMBERING BRUCE NESBITT (from John Sharry)

Spring of ’73, a wealthy friend of the college was interested in mining. He flew Prof Eiler Henrickson, Charlie Andrews, Steve Haase, Bruce Nesbitt, and John Sharry to mines in Casper Wyoming, Butte Montana, and Ceour D’Alene Idaho. Bruce, Steve, and Charlie were roommates in Parish House. They had a fairly large room. We returned late in the evening. The women in Parish House filled their room with newspaper. I mean filled. What you see (in pictures below) is Bruce and Steve up to their necks in newspaper. I think that is Deb Sonich ’73 in the foreground. When I said flew. It was on his own private plane. If you remember, in ’73 flying was not as everyday as it is today. So, the women were expressing their jealously? or just giving them grief for the extra special trip it was.
