Alice graduated from York Community High School in Elmhurst, Illinois. At Carleton, she majored in the Department of Anarchy mentored by Hays, Lang, Clark, and Fjelstad.
After Carleton, she worked initially in Florida and Michigan. Her life’s move was to Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where she gladly made her home for the remainder of her life.
Alice was always interested in art and enjoyed painting. She was active in the Glenwood Springs Art Guild, where she served as president for several years.
She was also involved in the children’s mini college preschool in Glenwood Springs, Chat and Chew and Threads of Love.
