Daniel A., age 47, of Mpls. Died of cancer on Oct 17. Daniel was a beloved kindergarten teacher at Northend School in St. Paul who will be greatly missed. A beloved husband to wife, Esther; devoted father to sons, Benjamin and Jacob. Also survived by mother, Julia Schak; brother, David Schak and family; sisters, Patricia Quesnel, Lucille Myhr and Debora Schak and their families; father-in-law and mother-in-law Dr. Hans and Libby Schapire.

Dan and I had some good times together. He was quirky and funny and observant of all around him. Too bad he didn't get to enjoy life for a bit longer.
