- M.D.- Medicine- general practice- University of Toronto
- Wife- Lois Schneeberg
- Children: Ivan, Molly, Amy
- Great Grandchildren: Chloe Anna
- Above all he was loving, kind and to his end had a wonderful sense of humor.
