Cathie touched all who knew her. She will be especially missed by her devoted husband of 25 years, Pete Gutches, and her son, Zack Gutches, of Boise; her father and mother, Jerry and Lois Stewart of Lake Tahoe, Nev.; her sister, Debbie Stewart Anderson of Northfield, Minn.; her brother, Randy Stewart of Meridian, Idaho; and many nieces and nephews. Cathie grew up in Cloquet as the youngest daughter of Jerry and Lois Stewart. She graduated from Cloquet High School in 1972, later attended Carlton College in Northfield, Minn., and subsequently graduated from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla. Cathie earned her professional status as a CPA and worked at Hewlett Packard for 22 years until her retirement in 2005. Cathie loved life and lived it to the fullest and with zest. Cathie loved the Lord and celebrated her faith daily. Her son, Zack, was her pride and joy. You always knew when Cathie was around, her joy and laughter could be felt and heard. Her warm and loving ways will be forever remembered and always treasured. “You are eternal, like an angel.” (Luke 20:36)
