She was my best friend my first two years at Carleton. I haven't spoken to her in 50 years but her death shocks and saddens me. RIP, pal.

A couple of her poetry books are available for sale online, under N.C. Hough. She also published, as George Twelftree, two poems in The Carleton Miscellany, 1975-1976 Spring-Summer.

I was married briefly to Nancy from September 5, 1987 to 1988. Reading this obituary brings back a lot of old memories.

I have moved on with my life. Goodbye Nancy.

I graduated with Nancy back in Wakefield High School in 1966 She was a beautiful, bright, graceful, and gentle soul. I wish I had the privilege of knowing her better and being with her again before she passed.
