Sue was one of the first people I met at Carleton. Early in fall term (1969) she and I went up to the U of M to see Johnny Winter at Northrup Auditorium. I thought I was pretty cool to know about Johnny Winter. His first album had just come out and very few people had ever heard of him. But Sue had not only heard of him, she had seen him several times IN BARS (!!) in Texas. Now THAT was cool! I'm so sorry to learn we won't be seeing her at our upcoming reunion.
