Carleton Connects: Martha Larson on Carleton’s Energy Future

​Martha Larson will discuss Carleton’s geothermal heating and cooling project, the college’s creative plans for the future of its utilities, and the goal of net-zero campus carbon emissions by 2050.  As with all Carleton Connects programs, online audience members will be able to ask real-time questions of the speaker.

About the Speaker

In her role as Carleton’s Manager of Campus Energy and Sustainability, Martha Larson has been responsible for the college’s 2011 Climate Action Plan, the installation of the Kracum wind turbine, and the development of a Utility Master Plan to modernize the campus heating system and decrease carbon emissions.
