Following 1973’s 45th reunion, Sarah Entenmann ’73 began a quest to gather stories of classmates who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC). The resulting series of oral histories — funded in part by Carleton through a grant from the Minnesota Cultural Heritage Program and completed with the help of history professor Susannah Ottaway ’89 and her students — now reside in the Carleton Archives. Excerpts from the oral histories also underpin a paper cowritten by Entenmann and Benjamin Wood ’03.
