Our Class Programs
The Program Committee did an outstanding job gathering over 50 classmates to participate in panel discussions, greet returning classmates, share memorabilia, host faculty, lead birdwalks, and get us UP and DANCING! Thanks to all.
Memories and Musings: Reflections from our Classmates
We invite you to add your memories/musings on the Reunion, on returning to Northfield and the campus, on great reconnections and new connections you made.
We will share these in the newsletters and they will be archived on our Webpage. Send these to Brenda Ringwald.
Keep the Reunion Going!
Add your Memories/Musings about reunion, returning to campus, great connections you made.

Our Class Gift
Thank you very much to everyone who contributed to our 50th Reunion legacy gift. We set a new class record for gift participation with 70% of you making a gift, pledge or deferred gift. In total, we have raised $15.4 million for Carleton! Fantastic!

News and Notes
Bob Geyer: I’m eternally grateful to all our classmates for the love and best wishes they’ve sent my way in recent weeks and months.
Bennett Davis was also unable to attend. He would welcome cards/notes from classmates.
Lynne and Dick Sadler: We appreciate the help of Carleton security, the EMTs, Northfield Hospital and classmates who helped us.
In the Words of Friedrich Schiller
“We Thank You For Your Great Friendship!”
A Closing Note Of Thanks From Gary And Chris
It was wonderful to see 134 classmates and so many guests gathered on campus last month to celebrate our 50th Reunion. We hope you had a wonderful weekend reconnecting with old friends and faculty and getting reacquainted with the campus.
To those of you who weren’t able to make it, we all missed you!
Program Preview
Plans are being finalized for the outstanding programs we will enjoy at reunion. They range from guided bird walks to a walk through the Archives, moderated discussions, speed networking to the last Night Crawlers Dance, and a Sunday morning memorial service in the Japanese garden for our departed classmates.
Sustainability Programs at Carleton Today
To complement our Classmate Connection Profile of Nancy Hazard’s lifetime work on energy issues, read about the sustainability programs happening on the Carleton campus today.

Nancy Hazard, The Road Less Traveled
Friends who grew up or studied with our classmate Nancy Hazard would undoubtedly be surprised to learn of Nancy’s career path. Nancy’s post-Carleton evolution is perhaps a testament to the value of the liberal arts education that she received at Carleton.

Reunion Updates
We’re on a REGISTRATION Roll!
138 have registered, 43% of our class, with two months to go. Our goal of returning more individual classmates to a 50th reunion is well within reach. That record is 142 so we’re very close, and we’re still encouraging more registrations.

Act Now! Your Gift Matched 4:1 for the ’67 Scholarship Fund
Thanks to everyone who has already responded to the 4:1 match!
$130,180 of the $200,000 in matching dollars offered by the 50th reunion committee have been claimed.
There is still time to maximize the impact your gift can have for Carleton students.
