Join the Jumpstart, September 10th
Classmates, mark your calendars! Plans are under way for our 50th Reunion (June 17-21, 2021), but why wait until then before we see each other? In September, we’re launching two online opportunities for our class to reconnect and enjoy each other’s company.
We’ll jumpstart our reunion year on Thursday, September 10, at 7:00 p.m. CT with a social get-together via Zoom. Everyone in the class is invited, and there’s no homework. It’s a low-stakes, high-reward chance to see old friends, to make new ones, and to hear a bit about our plans for the year to come. Our plan is to schedule more in coming months.
We’re also exploring new ways to create programs and discussions to be delivered via Zoom. Our first, “Agents of Change,” is a two-parter that will debut Thursday, September 17. See below for a teaser.

Remembering is always tricky. It’s human nature to give ourselves more credit than we deserve. But hey, our youthful rebellion changed Carleton, didn’t it?
Though change was a highlight of our lives, did it occur because of us? Or did we simply arrive at a time of inevitable social transformation?

Digging through the archives, we’ve confirmed that though we had better hair and flatter bellies then, our writing and proofreading has certainly improved. Go down the memory hole.
