We’re seeking one or two student assistants for the 2025-26 academic year to help Carleton develop its teaching and policies around generative AI technology. The Student Assistants will support the work of the Director of Academic AI Initiatives with development projects related to artificial intelligence technology, particularly generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Adobe Firefly, and Notebook LM. In particular, the Student Assistants will help gather data on students’ needs and experiences, assist with student-facing events, and research new tools and issues related to AI, such as sustainability and data privacy.
