We have a range of admissions programs to introduce you to Carleton. Whether you’d like to visit campus, or attend one (or more) of our virtual programs, we’ve got you covered.
Sign up here for in-person visit opportunities
These sessions will include both an information session and a campus tour. They will offer an introduction to Carleton’s academic programs, student life, and admissions process. You’ll see Carleton’s campus, including a dorm and our brand new science center. We encourage you to explore campus beyond the tour, or to visit downtown Northfield, just a few blocks from campus. More information about the safety precautions and practices can be found here. These are available only on a registration basis with sessions capped at 30 guests per session.
Virtual Information Session
Information sessions are also available as part of our virtual offerings via Zoom. You will similarly learn about Carleton’s academic programs, student life, and admissions process. In addition, there will be time for questions.
Live Virtual Tour
Join current students to see the places that make Carleton a community, not just a college. Sharing photos and stories, your tour guides will show you around and help you learn how campus and college resources contribute to the student experience. You’ll cover more ground than you thought possible in an hour! See you there! (Note, we recommend attending an online student information session and Q&A prior to the live virtual tour.) Live Virtual Tours will be offered at 9am and 2pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Explore campus from your computer or mobile device through our newly launched virtual tour. See some of our favorite campus spots and watch videos showcasing Carleton traditions to help determine whether this might be the place for you.
Hear directly from current Carls on why they chose to come to Carleton, and what’s stood out about their experience. These panels will run one hour, and take place the last Wednesday of the month.
Webinar Wednesday Panel Presentations
These recorded sessions focus on particular topics in greater depth than is possible in an information session. Whether you want to meet professors, hear about post-grad career opportunities, or learn about something else entirely, we intend these to offer more detail on specific resources at Carleton.
Recordings of past webinars
We understand that your college search this year is not what you expected. Honestly, it’s not what we expected either. Therefore, Carleton, Amherst, Bowdoin, Pomona, Swarthmore, and Williams are collaborating to host a series of virtual events so that students, families, and counselors can get updates all in one place.
