Hi everyone! It’s Jalen, and this week, honestly, I don’t have much to talk about. School and life and have been taxing on my mind and body, and I just want to take this week to slow and down and recover from how hard I’ve been working.
Though I am saying, I do want to update you on something that happened this past weekend: Hauntcert!
Though you can read more about it on the Student Activities Office website, it happens every year right around Halloween! People get dressed up in these beautiful and creative costumes and go to a concert in one of our partying places called “the Cave,” and everyone just has a great time.
It’s so unfortunate that this year I wasn’t able to make it. I saw all of my floormates with their costumes and when they got back, I heard all of the wild and fun things that happened there. Trust me, though — I will be attending next year, so I can’t wait to see all the new people reading this when you get here, too.
