With all my classes being online this trimester, I have been on the lookout for study rooms to encourage me to leave my dorm room. Over the last few weeks, I have found several study spots that I have fallen in love with, and today, I wanted to share them with you all!
The Chapel Lounge
A recent favorite place of mine has become the Lounge which is located in the basement of the chapel. I love this room because it has everything in one place! In this room I can sit at a table, lay down on a couch, play the piano, or fill up my water bottle. Since this room doesn’t have windows, it gives it a cozy atmosphere.
The Psychology Lounge
When I stay up to do homework, I like to study in the psychology lounge because it is very close to my dorm and the lights in the room are adjustable. Also, like the chapel lounge, this place has a desk for working and a couch for lounging, making it a versatile study area. This lounge is located in the basement of Anderson, which is a science building.
The Math Lounge
The Math Lounge is located inside the CMC, and this lounge has one of the prettiest views! Whenever I want to feel like I am outside without having to be in the cold weather, I go to this lounge. Since this room has so many windows, the sun always illuminates the room.
The Chemistry Lounge
The Chemistry Lounge is located on the 3rd floor of Anderson. This lounge is very popular, so it is often occupied. When I find the room vacant, I am always surprised before rushing in there! Like the Math lounge, the window view of this room is so beautiful, and it is very close to the majority of campus dorms.
These are just a few of the many wonderful places to study on campus. Every student at Carleton finds their own favorites!
