Hello world,

How’s it going? In the past week, Carleton has gone from incredible wind chill (thanks, polar vortex) to what feels like spring. Despite the cold, though, I enjoyed some warm moments with friends — ASIA hosted its Lunar New Year celebration in the Great Hall on Friday, and later that night I watched my friend perform as part of Queens of Comedy for the very first time. I was blown away by the turnout for the Lunar New Year event, and by my friend’s hilarious stand-up.

This week, I’m celebrating Lunar New Year (Feb 6!) with friends, turning in an 8-page paper, and prepping for next week’s projects and exams. While it’s not as freezing cold at the moment, the last two nights have been icy, and it’s supposed to snow tomorrow. Looking forward to the weekend, though, despite the cold. I’ll be DJing at Midwinter Ball!

Keep warm, everyone!
