Andriana Taratsas ’23

Andriana is a native of Richmond, VA, though her love of snow suggests she might be a northerner at heart. She is in her junior year at Carleton, where she is an English major and a Cross-Cultural Studies minor. When Andriana isn’t busy staying warm in the Minnesotan tundra, you can find her binge-reading, playing music, or watching a favorite movie or show for the umpteenth time.

Darius is an economics major from Houston, TX! He was lucky enough to blog during his senior year of high school and is glad to be able to share his love for Carleton with the outside world! Darius is really passionate about important things like improving societal injustices, educating the next generation of learners, and convincing his friends that Latin isn’t a dead language. In his spare time, Darius plays chess, hugs all of his friends (his single-day record is 61 hugs!), and gets some fresh air on his longboard!

Fátima is a self-proclaimed professional learner. She strives to learn everything about everything, but is especially interested in Sociology/AnthropologyPsychology, and Disney! As a freshman, she can’t wait to introduce her peers to her native Guatemalan culture, put in practice her newly acquired ASL skills, and play in the snow for the first time. In her free time, Fátima can be found watching cartoons, poorly playing the ukulele, or desperately missing her dog, Cosmo.

He hails from Pasadena, California, and yes, he realizes it gets cold out here. While majoring in Physics, Lucas is striving to explore Cinema and Media StudiesChemistryEconomicsMathematics, StatisticsComputer Science, and pretty much every other department at Carleton too.
