A Sunny Day in Northfield

Rosa explores a new part of Northfield

Rosa explores a new part of Northfield

Nothing is better than a sunny warm Saturday in a small town.

That’s how I felt today. Quietness, sunshine, smile, breeze, children, smell of bagels and sound of typing in Northfield Public Library. Today, a wedding took place in Chapati, the Indian restaurant in town. Today, I met my advisor walking with his wife. We waved and greeted each other. I felt this town is alive. I felt my life is not just the campus bubble. Today, I walked into the post office and found no one there. I later learned from the door that it was “self-service hour”. Today, I discovered a beautiful house with a cute garden next to the town library. Today, I dropped by Northfield Public Library for the first time. I joined “Northfield_Guest” wifi. Today, as usual, I saw cars waiting for pedestrians to walk across first. Today, as usual, I visited The Sketchy Artist store and was amazed. Today, as usual, I didn’t buy anything from The Sketchy Artist. Today, as usual, I read the words of wisdom on the ground. Today, as usual, I took pictures and could not wait to share them with you, my lovely readers.
