Hello everyone!

It has been a while since my last blog, and I hope everybody has been in good health and staying in good spirits. I’d like to give an update about my current situation, and speak a little bit about how my blogs will shape up over the next few weeks.

For those of you that have been following the recent blog posts, you will know that Carleton has recently started its spring term, which is being carried out online due to COVID 19. I am not taking any Carleton courses this term, as I am studying off campus at the National University of Singapore for both the winter and spring terms at Carleton. Due to the virus, most exchange students (including myself) at my exchange university returned home, so I am now back in California and completing my semester online. As we are nearing the end of our term, I’ve actually been quite busy recently with final projects, essays, and beginning to prepare for final exams.

As my traditional study abroad experience is now over, I will look to dedicate a post to speak about my off campus study experiences soon! While not essential, I think studying abroad can be extremely valuable to the college experience and I would highly recommend anyone at Carleton to consider an off campus studies program.

So while I hope to spread some knowledge about studying abroad at Carleton, I am also planning on dedicating the rest of my blogs this term to speak about my experiences at Carleton and thoughts about Carleton itself. I think the admissions blog is a valuable resource for those looking to learn more about the school, and it is unfortunate that us bloggers are not on campus to write about our experiences. Since I’m not currently taking any Carleton courses, I believe writing blogs about my current experiences will not be quite as insightful. So look out for posts detailing some of my past experiences at Carleton and things I think are important to know! I hope to bring in new topics each week to provide a well rounded viewpoint of what life is like at Carleton.
