Back to the cars after a long day.

Next day we surfed over to the Cima Volcanic Field. Annaliese hangs 10 on the wave of pahoehoe.

The Cima Volcanic Field is an area of small volcanic cones and lava flows.

Bereket led the discussion on the lava flow (above and below). It was kind of a rough place to sit, the lava was pretty spikey.


Here Bereket demonstrates the size of one of the lava tubes .
