We piled into the bus...


and took off for Missouri. Tigger was our co-pilot.

The first day at Silver Mines, Missouri, we got acquainted by telling our name, class and favorite rock.

Cam gave an orientation on the geology of Missouri.

We checked out the exposure of the Silver Mine Granite and the associated dike.

Then it was on to Knob Lick to see another granite and another dike.

Checking out the geologic map of the area in the handout.

At Pickle Springs, Bre and Leah told the story of the sandstone deposition in interpretive dance.

Selena examines the sandstone in a keyhole.
