·       Taught one section of seventh grade World Studies. Lessons included Christopher Columbus, civic participation, and introduction to Africa; Developed a three-week unit on voting and elections using the KidsVoting USA curriculum

·       Fostered stimulating learning environments that integrated cooperative learning, video and music, children’s literature, graphic organizers, and outdoor activities into daily social studies lessons

·       Developed rubrics and graded students; Assisted Spanish-language speakers with translations and visual aids
