COMMENTS:

* Thanks for a great picnic! Many thanks to Alisa and Zoe for creating a particularly delicious picnic. Be sure to check out the picnic picture on our constantly improving web site!

* Found: One pocket knife on the Hill of Three Oaks after department picnic. See Rebecca to claim.

* Summer Internship Opportunity (it's never too early to plan for the summer) How about spending the summer in Bloomington, Indiana? There is a Summer Undergradaute Research Program for sophomores and juniors at the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility. It pays well -- $2800 for a 10-week summer appointment. Application deadline is Friday, February 14, 1997. For more information, contact Bill Titus or see the poster displayed on the bulletin board in the Mudd Lounge Area.

* Study Abroad There a poster on the bulletin board in the Student Lounge area in Mudd which describes a program to study for a semester at Oxford. More information is also available from Bill Titus.

* Student workers Quite a few time sheets were only partially filled out or left blank last pay period. These have been left in the binder in Mudd. You can still get paid for your hours (next month), but you must complete the time sheets before they can be sent to Leighton. Please see Doug in Mudd 157 (x4033) if you have questions about this.

* NSF Applications for Graduate Research Fellowships have arrived. Please see Bill Titus for more information or an application.
