COMMENTS:
Web pages: Be sure to visit our ever-expanding and improving web pages. If you are a major and would like to add your name to our student pages, please let Rebecca know. We especially need some junior majors to add to our web list (of none, at this writing).
Doctoral Fellowships: There are doctoral and law fellowships to support studies in arms control, nonproliferation and disarmament through the Hubert H. Humphrey Doctoral Fellowships. The deadline in March 15, 1997. For more information, contact Bill T.
Journals available for your reading pleasure: Because the Science Library has moved away from us, we've been able to receive directly our own departmental subscriptions to several of the main journals of our field. You are welcome to read them. (Please do not remove them from the rooms in which you find them.) On the shelves in the Goodsell Lounge are current issues of Science, Nature, Scientific American, American Journal of Physics, The Physics Teacher, and Sky and Telescope. On the shelves in Mudd are past issues of American Journal of Physics and The Physics Teacher, and the current issues of The Industrial Physicist and Physics Today. (Physics Today is a great resource for talks, etc. Check out this month's issue for an article on supercomputing in astronomy).
Want to get Physics Today? Join the Society of Physics Students. Get membership application from Rich Noer.
