COMMENTS:

1. EARN WHILE YOU LEARN: If, by any chance, you did not get an invitation to work in our program next year, run, don't walk, to the nearest door/phone/computer and pound/dial/keyboard to get an application from Bruce Thomas (Olin 331/x4389/bthomas). If you did get one, please return it by Friday, May 5.

2. Joel's astrophysics texts are missing: Did you borrow Joel's two graduate-level texts by Shu? If so, please return them ASAP.

3. Our department World Wide Web site is up and running! Point your browser to "http://physics.carleton.edu" (without the quotes). Also, you should be able to get there from Carleton's server (http://www.carleton.edu). Check it out. Suggestions and comments are welcome to Doug.
