June 6, Thursday, Noon-1:00 113, LDC, Physics Table End of the year round-up. Join staff and classmates for lunch during Physics Table. Meet in Olin 3rd lounge at 11:50 and we can walk over together, or join us in room 113 (behind the fireplace) at the Language Dining Center. Everyone is welcome.

June 7, Friday,10 p.m. - 12 a.m, Goodsell Observatory Public Open House, Everyone is invited to come look through the observatory's two historic telescopes. Remember to dress appropriately as the telescope domes are neither heated nor cooled. The open house will be canceled in the event of cloudy skies. Job Openings for Fall 02 We still have openings for fall Astro 110 workers: the 5 hour/week positions are combined tutor/grader/telescope operator jobs. We also need a student observatory open house coordinator at 1 hour/week. See Joel if you are interested.

Student Employees: There are lots of blank timesheets in the student work binder. We’re running out of time before the end of the year, so please stop by to get yourself up to date. We want to pay you for the work you have done, so do it today! The remaining timesheets will be sent to the shredder on Wednesday, June 12.

Annual Cannon River Canoe Trip for seniors is scheduled for Thursday, June 13. Be sure to sign-up by Monday June 10. For more information, please check Ann’s door.

Senior Luncheon The Physics Department Staff would like to invite the seniors to a special luncheon at the Ole Store on Tuesday, June 11 at 1 pm. We will need to know who will be attending by Thursday June 6. Its a fun time and an opportunity for the department to honor you and your accomplishments (no speeches).
