COMMENTS:

.Comps Talks This year's Physics comps talks begin on Monday. In general, through the rest of winter term and the first part of spring term, these talks will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays. Seniors attend as official participants, but the talks are public, and anyone interested is encouraged to attend. Junior majors are particularly urged to take in a few, just to have an idea of what's ahead for you next year! You may wish to read the comps prepapers--five-page documents--which are on reserve in the Science Library before attending.

.Thermo and Quantum Spring Term will be changed to 1A. Sorry!

.Internship Information Meeting Several students will talk about their experiences from last summer. Learn more about the resources available in the Career Center. Refreshments will be served. Monday, January 22, 6:30-7:30 in the Career Center, 50 Sayles-Hill.

.Career Exploration Meeting Learn more about your career options by shadowing an alum in the "real world". Ask questions, get some advice on what to do and what not to do. Over 600 volunteers in 47 states! Wednesday, January 24, 6:30-7:30 in the Career Center, 50 Sayles-Hill.

.Astro Lovers: The tutoring service is looking for students willing to tutor Astro 110 students. If you've taken any astro course or have an interest in astro, you'd be a candidate. Please let Joel know ASAP if you are interested.
