PHYSICS 123 LECTURE: This week's lecture is by Kathy Kraft, a 1975 graduate of the Carleton physics program. Kathy works at the Ithaca (NY) Sciencenter and will talk about her experiences helping launch a community-supported science museum and designing low-budget, hands-on physics exhibits. Kathy has a Ph.D. from Cornell, where she worked on the design of superconducting particle accelerators. The paper Dr. Kraft has suggested for background reading is available on reserve in the Science Library. All are invited to these talks.
