MF_SectionGrade

Fact

This fact table records grades for sections, but, unlike MF_SectionGradeByTerm, it does so not at the grain of SU, FA, WI, SP terms, but at the grain of our actual variable-length/overlapping terms.

Because this fact table doesn't link to anything approaching a real time dimension (again, recall that terms here are overlapping and of highly variable lengths), it can't be used for longitudinal analysis as easily and effectively as MF_SectionGradeByTerm, although its coverage is better (e.g., it includes SB and WB terms).

This fact table only includes counts/grades for non-waitlist sections. Cross lists that aren't waitlists and primaries are both counted.

Note that this is FERPA-protected information. Handle accordingly.
