Tippi Hedren

Real name Nathalie Hedren; she was born in Minnesota. Her daughter is actress Melanie Griffith. Hitchcock first saw her in a commercial and decided to play Pygmalion. She also starred in 1957's The Birds. Hedren got the role of Marnie after Princess Grace's advisors told her it would be a bad publicity move. Hedren and Alfred Hitchcock had a falling-out during the filming of Marnie and stopped speaking. Since then, Tippi Hedren has been in many, many TV movies, but her major concern is wildlife preservation. When I was a little girl I sat in the Tippi Hedren memorial chair in the auditorium of Wildlife Safari.

Sean Connery

He's in the Indiana Jones movies. Born in Scotland. He was almost Mr. Universe. He got $250,000 for being the king at the end of Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves.

Diane Baker

She had a small part in The Joy Luck Club. And she was in TV movies.

Martin Gabel

He was in a lot of TV movies, and also became a producer.

Louise Latham

I wonder if all these people are depressed about being in TV movies all the time. Most of them were in The Fugitive at one time or another, too, but I guess most actors were.

Bruce Dern

He's made a lot of movies. You've heard of them.
