Minnesota Women's Press (MN).
Applications are now being taken for feminist business and advertising sales internships. This is a great opportunity for hands-on experience in a variety of projects. Interns will be unpaid and work 20 hours per week. Applicants must be sensitive to women's issues, and possess computer and communications skills.

Lenox Hill Hospital (NY).
Part-time summer intern needed to assist with diverse projects in public relations, marketing communications and community outreach. This 652-bed non-for-profit teaching hospital is located on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Work will include writing copy for posters, flyers and other printed materials; updating the website; accompanying camera crews on TV shoots and print reporters on interviews; writing, editing and proofreading letters, newsletters, and brochures; coordinating community outreach programs, including free health screenings and community lectures, and more. The internship requires 15 hours/week from approximately June 16-August 11. A stipend of $800 will be provided upon completion of the internship. Old First Reformed Church (PA).
Old First Reformed Church of Christ, an urban congregation located in historic Old City Philadelphia, seeks a creative, responsible, self-motivated individual for a yearlong voluntary service position. The volunteer will work with the Work Camp Program, the Homeless Shelter, the Food and Clothing Cupboard, Congregational Life, On-site Residence, and the Training of Incoming Volunteers. The church provides an on-site apartment with direct phone line, a $150/week stipend, and accident and health insurance through a denominational policy. Regular time off plus 15 vacation days will be negotiated. Travel to and from Philadelphia is not covered. To receive further information or to apply, please email oldfirstucc@oldfirstucc.org. Minnesota Supreme Court (MN).
The State Court Information Office seeks an organized, creative and energetic intern with topnotch administrative skills to assist the communications department with Constitution Day event planning and organization. This is a temporary 7-week internship through October 11, 2002. This internship requires excellent organizational, computer, administrative, and interpersonal communication skills. The successful candidate should be interested in the fields of communications, public relations, government, public affairs, and/or law. The salary is $10/hour. Application deadline is August 9.
