CollegeProwler, Inc. (PA). CollegeProwler is seeking talented student writers. This is the publishing opportunity of a lifetime where you can earn royalties and tremendous exposure. Writers will be given the responsibility of authoring a college guidebook from the school that he or she attends. The guidebook will provide students with information about what life on campus is really like and will be published and distributed across the entire world. Congresswoman Betty McCollum (MN). Energetic and enthusiastic intern needed in Betty McCollum's Minnesota office. The intern will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operation of the office, including answering phone calls and tracking correspondence, assisting casework staff in helping constituents to resolve problems and to navigate federal bureaucracies, and more. These internships are unpaid. The deadline for a fall internship is May 30.

Crow Canyon Archaeological Center (CO). Research Lab Interns are needed from January 5-March 20, 2003. All lab interns will process archaeological specimens and samples; maintain provenience control for cultural materials and records; analyze a variety of artifacts, including pottery, stone tools, and stone debitage; manage archaeological collections utilizing a relational database; and maintain a small research library. Federation of American Scientists (DC). Global Security Project 2003 Summer Internship available. Interns will assist with research on nuclear nonproliferation, biological and chemical weapons control, and US security assistance programs; review journals, newspapers, and government sources for articles of interest to the Project; help maintain the website, and perform general administrative tasks, including requesting information, filing and photocopying. Intern should have a basic understanding of the US policy-making process and nuclear, biological, chemical and conventional arms proliferation. Park Nicollet Foundation (MN). Special Events Intern needed to help with the Celebration for Life annual gala. This part-time unpaid intern will work for the summer of 2003 at an annual fundraising gala in St. Louis Park. There are opportunities in the fields of event planning, marketing, publicity, community relations, philanthropy, volunteer coordination, and fundraising. Wilderness Inquiry (MN). Minneapolis-based Wilderness Inquiry is now seeking applications for 20 internship positions and 20 Trail staff positions for 2003. An internship is a great step toward a career in outdoor recreation, non-profit management, or organizational development. Internships are available year-round, 20-40 hours/week, for a minimum of 6 weeks. Housing is provided.
