Deadline Extended for the Partners Internship Program: April 15th

Andersen Corporation (Bayport, MN) Seven summer internship positions for juniors/non-graduating seniors. All positions prefer engineering major/interest and experience with MS word, Excel, Powerpoint, autoCAD 2000. Compensation is $15/hr. Deadline extended to April 8.

Carleton Summer Academic Programs (MN) Internship for juniors and seniors. Join the Carleton Summer Writing Program as a Dormitory Counselor or Rhetoric Assistant. July 6-26. Room and partial board is provided. Contact Becky Fineran-Gardner at x4038 to apply.

US China Educational & Cultural Exchange (CHINA) Opportunity for American students to spend five weeks in China teaching English as a second language and one week of touring. The cost of the program is $500. The program provides transportation to China, and room, board, touring costs and transportation within China. Last year 150 participants from 42 colleges and universities went to China on this program.

Minnesota House Republican Campaign Committee (MN) Campaign field representative, temporary, full-time position assisting with planning, coordination & administration of field services to candidates running for the Minnesota House of Representatives through November 5 elections. Willingness to travel & the ability to work evenings/ weekends a must. $1,700/ months plus expenses. Ability to earn college credit. Apply to Rep. Steve Sviggum, Speaker of the House, by Monday, April 8.

Minnesota Independent School Forum (MN) Student Webmaster Forum in conjunction with the Minnesota Private College Council and the Science Museum of Minnesota. Ten intern positions to train students for private and public schools to learn basic web design skills.

Minnesota Section PCA (MN) Two sports administration internships: Junior Golf Intern and Tournament Operations & PGA Championship Intern. May 13-Sept. 1 or flexible. $1,000 month.

Nerstrand Big Woods State Park (Nerstrand, MN) Volunteers acting as roving Naturalists are needed to provide park visitors with information on the spring wildflowers and to monitor the trail use near the designated "Sensitive Area" where the Dwarf Trout Lily blooms. Roving Naturalists will direct photographers and wildlife enthusiasts to locations for picture taking and plant viewing while remaining on the boardwalk trail. This position is with the Minnesota Dept. of Natural Resources.

Summer Institute on Philanthropy & Volunteer Service. Six week residential program, June 8-July 19, in Indianapolis Explore the role of the nonprofit sector as an alternative to government in solving social, economic, & other problems. Gain practical experience through an internship with a leading nonprofit organization. Deadline: April 15, 2002.
