Federation of American Scientists (DC). Interns needed to assist with research on US arms transfers and US export policy, will also review journals, newspapers, and government sources for articles. At least 20 hours per week. Applications will be accepted until position is filled, stipend available. Contact tamarg@fas.org.

Hennepin County Medical Center (MN). Summer research associate program for undergrads interested in science. Participants will work shifts in the Emergency Department and have various other duties.

Project Vote Smart
Located at the Great Divide Ranch in Montana, this non-profit organization provides Americans with unbiased information about candidates and elected officials. Interns will get a full semester of 12 credits through the University of Montana and an opportunity to live and play in the Rocky Mountains. Red Arrow Camp (WI). Summer camp for boys is looking for counselors with skills to teach in archery, riflery, SCUBA, waterskiing, tennis, basketball, lacrosse, or softball. Salary: $2,500-$3,000 plus room and board. June 10th through August 7th.

St. Paul Parks and Recreation (MN). Internships available in the forestry and education departments, contact information and deadlines available in Career Center.

Wells Fargo US Corporate Banking (MN). Alum, Mike Binder '00, will be interviewing Friday, April 19 on-campus. Resumes due in the Career Center on Wednesday, April 17 by 3:00 p.m. Financial Analyst position, summer, paid, sophomores/juniors only.

Wellstone for Senate (MN). Unpaid interns needed for at least 20 hours per week to work directly with campaign staff and be given various responsibilities. Contact chris@wellstone.org, for questions. To apply, send cover letter explaining why you want to do an internship, a copy of your resume, and three references. Deadline for summer is April 30.

Youth Frontiers (MN). Twin Cities based non-profit organization seeks interns to work in various departments including HR, Operations, Marketing, etc.
