Camp Catherine Capers (VT). Camp Catherine is looking for riding instructors, stable managers, and herd managers for its summer program. Camp Catherine is an all girls overnight English riding camp. Qualifications include high intermediate to advanced riding experience and a love for horses, campers, and outdoor living. These positions are paid according to experience and certification. The Northfield Public Schools are hiring counselors for Freepops, a community violence prevention program for low-income children ages 6-14. Harcourt Trade Publishers (CA, NY). Harcourt is offering paid summer internships in the field of trade publishing to college juniors and seniors. Minnesota DFL (MN). Now accepting applications for Field Interns, Communications and Research Interns, and Party Affairs Interns. Some full-time and some part-time positions are available. Minnesota International Center (MN). We are currently seeking interns for positions in Administration, Professional Exchange, Community Programs, World Affairs, and International Classroom Connections. Principal Financial Group (IA). Currently seeking Corporate Relations Intern and Information Technology Intern. Corporate Relations Intern should be a junior or senior with interests in Public Relations, Journalism, or Communications. Candidate should have at least a 3.0 GPA and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, creativity, coordination skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Information Technology Intern should be a sophomore or junior pursuing a Management Information Systems or Computer Science degree. REEF Marine Conservation Internship (FL). Enthusiastic college students with SCUBA experience and a career interest in marine conservation are encouraged to apply for this internship. Research Experience for Undergraduate(REU) Program (MN). University of Minnesota is looking for REU interns to help with earthworm research. Students will examine the ecological effects of invasive earthworms. Qualifications include one or more general biology courses and one or more courses in ecology, soil science, or a related topic. Students should be enthusiastic and have a high potential to conduct independent research. This is a ten-week paid internship. See Career Center for more information and application details. Teen Adventure (ME). Teen Adventure is seeking Summer Interns to help lead outdoor trips and act as mentors to our group of Portland area at-risk youth. Month-long internships are available for July and August. Interns will plan logistics, organize and maintain gear, and co-lead adventure trips and summer camps.
