Everett Public Service Internship Program (NY& DC). Ten-week internships available in 64 organizations dedicated to improving the world. Stipend is $230/week for expenses, and all interns work with an assigned Intern Coordinator. Available to students who have completed at least 2 semesters of college. Students must apply directly to each organization of their choice, a full list of organizations is available online.

Clear Channel Radio (MN). K102 is currently hiring non-paid promotion interns for this summer. These positions are ideal for students interested in promotions, public relations, etc. Candidates must be available for 8-10 hours/week, including evenings and weekends. Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (MN). Non-profit organization with a mission to enhance the quality and availability of ophthalmic patient care seeks summer interns. Interns will help with developing marketing strategies aimed at membership, recruitment, certification and continuing education, and will attend various planning and development meetings. There is a $1,500 stipend for 180-200 hours per term. Email resume, cover letter and references by March 15 to jcrane@jcahpo.org

Institute for Experiential Learning (DC). Now accepting applications for Capital Experience and Embassy and Diplomatic Scholars programs for public policy and public service. Students of all majors are welcome to apply for this internship opportunity. Final summer deadline is April 1. For application information, visit the web site.

Mid-America Festivals (MN). The producers of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival and Trail of Terror are interviewing candidates for Internships for the 2003 Festival Season. Sales and Marketing positions are available. Applications are due March 14 and March 31, respectively. Milliman USA (MN). Summer actuarial internship available with a consulting service provider to clients in the healthcare field. Interns will analyze data and produce reports using spreadsheets, assure the quality of projects, draft written reports, and more. Applicants must have good communication skills and a GPA greater than 3.5. Hourly wage starts at $16, and interns will have automatic consideration for a permanent position as a consultant. PGA Tour (FL). Minority Intern Program open to over 30 interns for the summer and fall of 2003. The ability to play golf or knowledge of the game is not required. Interns participate in daily department operations and are expected to be proactive members of the staff. They are paid $9/hour, receive housing subsidies, and may qualify for college credit. Candidates must have completed sophomore year with a GPA of at least 2.5. Download an application online.

R&D Systems (MN). 12 internship positions available to students majoring in a biological science, chemistry or related field. Full position descriptions available online. Applications must be postmarked by April 4, 2003.

RBC Dain Rauscher (MN). Summer internships available with one of the nation's largest full-service securities firms. Positions available in fixed income business, marketing, human resources accounting, information services, finance, etc. Juniors and seniors only. Full-time, paid positions. Students should apply directly online. Visit their booth at the Minnesota Private College Job Fair in Minneapolis on Feb. 18.

United Leaders Institute (MA & DC). A national, non-partisan, nonprofit action tank out of Harvard University will be conducting its 3rd annual Institute for Political Service this summer. The 8-week political fellowship program provides its participants with the support necessary to pursue a career in political service. Housing and $2000 stipend are included. Apply online.

Wells Fargo-U.S. Corporate Banking (MN).
Summer internship available for a Credit Analyst position. Duties include analysis of financial statements, assessment of clients' corporate strategy, and much more. Competitive salary offered. Cover letter and resume must be turned into the Career Center by February 14 at 3 p.m.

Summer Housing Available in Washington DC and New York City
Interns who are working in DC this summer may receive housing through American University.
Interns working in the New York City area can live in the William Street Residence Hall, a part of New School University.
