Bioinformatics Summer Program at the U of M (MN).
Seeking junior and senior undergraduates to participate in research experiences in bioinformatics. Summer appointments are full-time, ten-week appointments from June 7-Aug 13; $5,000 stipend provided. ESPN Communications Department.
Spring and summer intern positions available with ESPN, the Worldwide Leader in Sports. Applicants must have strong communications skills, writing ability, and sports knowledge; journalism or communications majors preferred. '95 Carleton alum is seeking a winter break intern to assist with research, legislation monitoring, daily business operations, and other projects supporting public education and use of biodiesel fuel. Applicants should be interested in alt-fuel promotion and possess strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Flexible start/end dates and weekly schedule. Gunderson Lutheran Medical Foundation (WI).
Opportunities available for summer interns in a variety of research areas with the GLMF Summer Research Internship Program. Interns get hands-on experience with a medical research project under the direction of doctoral level staff. Pay at $7/hr, position runs for 13 weeks, 40 hrs/week; housing not included. The Hormel Institute (MN).
Now accepting applications from undergraduate students interested in obtaining hands-on research experience in fields of biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology or nutrition. TIME, Inc. Editorial Internship Program (NY).
Summer internships being offered with TIME magazines including: Entertainment Weekly, Fortune, People, Teen People, Sports Illustrated and others. Most interns perform duties of reporter/researcher; also welcoming applicants for photo editing, photo lab and graphic design. The nine-week program runs from June-Aug; $350/week and dormitory housing provided. Applications must be submitted to the Career Center by noon on Friday, November 21.
