Bet Tzedek Legal Services (CA). This non-profit,
non-sectarian, free legal service provider focuses on civil and administrative
issues including Landlord/Tenant, Home Foreclosure, Consumer Protection,
Collection, Bankruptcy, Guardianship, Conservatorship and Supplemental
Security Income. Six students interested in legal careers will be
chosen as Legal Assistants under the direction of litigation Attorneys.
Position is 20 hours/week. Applications must be received by April

Choate
Rosemary Hall (CT). Teaching Internships available to
30-35 students. The interns will assist senior teachers, live in a
dorm and serve as an advisor for students, coach an afternoon athletic
program, and gain valuable classroom experience. There are multiple
programs and disciplines, so students in all areas are encouraged
to apply. Salary is $2,400 with room and board. Program dates are
June 29- August 1, 2003.
Congressional Hispanic
Caucus Institute (DC). Non-partisan, non-profit organization
dedicated to developing the next generation of Latino leaders seeks
interns to work in the offices of U.S. Representatives. Interns benefit
from the leadership development curriculum's emphasis on work experience,
community service, and learning. Stipend of $2,000 provided for local
expenses, along with summer housing and domestic round-trip transportation
to DC. Deadline for application is January 31, 2003. Applications

Game
and Fish Coalition (MN). This non-partisan but very political
non-profit group representing the hunters and fishers of Minnesota
needs a Wildlife/Political Intern. The duties for this paid position
include helping with membership entries, mailings, communication with
members, and supporting a political focus. $300/month, 12-16 hours/week.

National Collegiate
Athletic Association (IN). Ethnic Minority and Women's
Enhancement Postgraduate Scholarship and Internship programs are available
for students that are pursuing a career in intercollegiate athletics.
Thirty-two postgraduate scholarships of $6,000 will be awarded to
graduates entering their first year of postgraduate studies. The application
deadline is December 20, 2003. The internship program provides a paid,
12-month, on-the-job learning experience at the NCAA national office.
The application deadline is February 1, 2003.
St. Paul's School (NH). Two internship
programs are available for juniors, seniors, and recent graduates
interested in the teaching profession. The Advanced Studies Program
Summer Internship for juniors and above lasts for 5 1/2 weeks during
an intensive academic summer program for high school students. The
Teaching Fellow Program for seniors and recent graduates runs September
through June, and involves all aspects of boarding school life. The
deadline for applications is January 10, 2003. More information is

(CA, CO, NY). Several internship positions are available
to students who have completed at least two years of college and who
