ACM Urban Studies Program (IL).
Chicago's ACM Urban Studies Program introduces students to political, economic, and cultural justice issues. Visits to Chicago's neighborhoods and local groups help students assess the meanings and practices of social justice and community engagement. Helen Quan, of the Program Faculty Dept., will be on campus for an open informational dinner meeting on Tuesday, September 23, in East Dining Hall Fireplace Room from 6-7 p.m. www.acm.edu/urbanstudy

Center for Global Education at Augsburg College (MN).
The Center for Global Education provides quality cross-cultural educational opportunities in Latin America, Southern Africa, and other sites across the globe. An information session and a panel discussion with previous interns will be held this Thursday, September 25, from 5:00-6:00 in Sayles Hill 253. Previous Carleton intern Colleen Miller '04, will share her experiences about her credit internship in Luxembourg this past summer. www.augsburg.edu/global/

KSTP-AM Radio (MN).
Internship available for detailed oriented students who are able to collaborate and work cooperatively as a team, as well as demonstrate an interest and knowledge of current events and news issues. Intern would assist producer in daily activities, research and write news and event summaries, operate production and air studio equipment, participate in station promotional and marketing activities, and other duties that may arise. About 20 hours /week; late afternoons, early evenings.

National Public Radio, NPR (DC).
Seeking an intern to be a legal affairs correspondent for National Public Radio in Washington, DC. Some duties might include: attending Supreme Court arguments, reading briefs, conducting research, writing research memoranda, attending press conferences, and arranging and transcribing interviews.
