Center for Public Integrity (DC).
Interns interested in being introduced to the "nuts and bolts"
of investigative journalism. The Center hosts interns from universities
all over the United States and abroad. Participate in their speakers'
program with Washington opinion makers. See different aspects of journalism
as well as a peek into the political side of the city.

Foundation (WI).
Paid research fellowship opportunity for sophomores. Possible clinical
areas include: cardiology, genetics, sports physical therapy, surgery.

Legislative News Intern/ Trainee for Spring Semester. Research and compile

Marshfield Clinic
Research Foundation (WI).
A "hands-on" research experience is provided for internship
in Laboratory Biomedical Sciences. Must have completed junior year and
have a firm science background. $3,600 stipend for 12-weeks; housing

Minnesota House of Representatives
(MN).
Interns work directly with legislators and key staff members to assist
in performing essential preliminary duties of the House of Representatives-before,
during, and after bills become law. Must be taken for academic credit.

Nambu Foundation (JAPAN).
This program offers internships at various Japanese corpora-tions for
approx. 10 students each year. Interns will receive 160,000 yen per
month as allowance plus accommodations in a company dormitory. Travel
expenses also provided by host company. Must be highly proficient in
the Japanese language. Deadline is January 31.
