CONSIDERING AMERICORPS?
Looking at a volunteer position with AmeriCorps? You should check with
your loan provider about loan deferment. For example, the agency that
manages Minnesota SELF loans does not provide forbearance for AmeriCorps
volunteers. Take this extra financial obligation into consideration,
as you may have to continue paying loans with either personal savings
or with your AmeriCorps living stipend.
