give you plenty of information about a job industry. After all
they work there. They are usually very helpful and willing to
talk to other alums. They can answer the questions no database
or brochure can! |

students find out about industries specifically geared toward

| The Riley Guide--Helps
you learn what people in different careers do. It's a very comprehensive
site, and highly recommended if you aren't sure exactly what paralegals
an environmental activists do (for example). |
| Job Star--This
site can help tell you how to get to a job you want and will show
you some possible career paths. Learn how to get into your chosen
career, and what to expect from it. |

Career Exploration Links Page--A great source of information
arranged by job field. If you're interested in a career in anything
from architecture to social service, this is the place to find
out all about it. |
| CareerPlanit--This
service of the National Association of Colleges and Employers
has information and resources for college grads about different
tools, including an interactive career exploration tool. |
